On Wednesday, Marko Simić, author of the book Po sledeh Soška fronte, which is still the best general review of the Soška front in Slovenia, and probably in general, had a presentation of his new book entitled The Twelfth Battle of the Soška. Discusses the breakthrough of the Soča Front in October 1917, otherwise known as "The miracle at Kobarid". I’ve been eagerly waiting for this for four years and after reading 50 pages I can say it was worth it. So far, only the first part, which contains the preparations for the offensive, has been published, but I eagerly await the second, which will deal only with the offensive.
I think it is one of the most important historiographical works in the field of the First World War in our country. The circulation is fairly limited, just saying. Now I’m going to lock myself in my room for the next two weeks.

Dva tedna? Koliko strani te ima to delo? Al načrtuješ pretuhtati kje ležijo kaki objekti še dandanes?🤔
