On 6 April 2026, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, arrived in Georgia for a state visit, accompanied by an official delegation.
At the Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, the President of Azerbaijan was welcomed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili.
Within the framework of the visit, President Aliyev is scheduled to hold meetings with the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili and the Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze. At the conclusion of the meetings, joint statements will be made to the media.
