Iceland and Slovenia in March provided more than 3 million euros to support Ukraine’s energy sector through a special fund.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, according to a statement from the department.

The total amount of contributions amounted to 3.2 million euros. The funds were directed to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.

The ministry also noted that in March, the partners signed new documents on additional grants and declared further commitments.

In the near future, Ukraine expects new revenues: 12.5 million euros from Canada, 10 million euros from the European Commission, 5.4 million euros from Denmark, 4.8 million euros from Germany, and 1.5 million euros from Croatia.

As previously reported, Ukraine received almost $1.3 billion from the Japanese government as part of the World Bank’s PEACE in Ukraine project.

Recall, Ukraine received $690 million in grant support from Japan and Canada within the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine mechanism of the G7 countries.
