Nucleon Cranes has installed a single girder overhead crane in Poland with a lifting capacity of 5t, a 16m span and a lifting height of 6m.

The crane operates under A5 duty conditions and uses inverter control for hoist travelling speeds of 2m to 20m per minute and crane travelling speeds of 3m to 30m per minute.

The hoist lifting speed is 5/0.8m per minute.

The system runs on a 380V, 50Hz, three-phase power supply and uses wireless remote control. The motor protection level is IP54.

Nucleon carried out the project from manufacturing to installation in line with EU standards.

The customer inspected the crane before handover and later confirmed stable performance and handling after commissioning.

The company said: “The customer conducted thorough inspections and had very high expectations for performance and safety. We’re delighted to report that the final installation exceeded their expectations!”

Nucleon Crane was established in 2005 as a Sino-Singapore joint venture. The company combines research and development, manufacturing, installation, sales and after-sales service.

Its products include ND NH wire rope electric hoists, NL electric chain hoists, HD European electric overhead cranes and NHL overhead cranes.

The company’s equipment is used in sectors including metallurgy, electric power, petrochemicals, aviation, construction, railways, military and coal.

In August 2025, Nucleon Cranes shipped a lifting equipment to Algeria as part of its overseas operations. The shipment included three HD single-girder overhead cranes and ten European electric wire rope hoists.

The equipment was configured for industrial use in Algeria, including a 3.2t lifting capacity, adjustable operating speeds and compatibility with the local 400V 50Hz three-phase power supply.
