Worldwide Caution – Enroll in STEP
In March, Fulbright Specialist Dr. Dustin York, a professor at Maryville College and a speaker and author specializing in digital marketing and leadership communication, completed a two-week, in-person assignment in Montenegro. He supported the Government of Montenegro on crisis communications, providing recommendations to strengthen its communication capacity by adapting international best practices to the local context.
Additionally, on March 13, Dr. York delivered a lecture titled “Innovate – Lead the Next Era of Global Partnership” at the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Political Science. Opened by PD Chief Stephen Dreikorn, the event engaged students from Media, Social Work, and International Relations. Dr. York discussed the rapid pace of technological change, the importance of teaching students how to learn, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in society and media.
Dr. York’s visit to Montenegro concluded on March 21, 2026.
