Hey r/Monaco,

I’m at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters this week and the vibe is next level — packed courts, perfect clay season tennis, and that Mediterranean backdrop is unreal.

One thing that’s surprising a lot of visitors: getting from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport to Monaco right now is way more complicated than usual.

Road closures, heavy traffic around the event, and huge demand mean a normal 25-minute drive can easily turn into 60–90+ minutes.

Has anyone here dealt with transfers during the tournament this week?

What worked best for you — taxi, train, private driver, or something else?

Would love real tips from people who are here right now! 👇

The Monte-Carlo Masters are an amazing opportunity to see the top men players as they ramp up for Roland Garros. Bus service, I believe, is free during the tournament, with additional shuttles from the center of town at Sant-Devote to the Country Club. Arriving to Monaco is busy in normal times, and during the tournament it is harder. Park at the new Parking des Salines, as you enter Monaco, and a free shuttle will take you cross town to the action. Will we see another epic battle on the clay this year?
