There was also a variant of this ticket that was good for buses and trains (before translink was set up). But it was only good for trains between certain stations..

The amount of times I used a 1 zone ticket for 2 zones because I was a cheapskate even as a teenager.
These cards were great until they got bent and stopped reading so you had to get it replaced at that one random desk in the city library.
