I mean, we could just start making our own petrol and diesel and sell it cheaper now that prices are too high. We could just stop buying fuel from other countries. Maybe not sell as much.
I don’t think the US is going to even think about trying it. Because they simply cannot afford to make an enemy of Norway. It would make the USA the new nazi Germany. It would fuel the hatred the rest of the world already has against them. The US can’t withstand the world if it decided that US freedom wasn’t our cup of tea.

As Norwegian I think this is not even funny. Venezuela, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Russia; all under US attack last decades, all have oil.
In 1940 two countries wanted to take Norway, Germany and the British empire, while Norway was defending against USSR.
Also Norway has supported US imperialism for the last decades and all their illegal wars, and we are now paying for their illegal proxy war on Russia and their anti-Russian nazi project in Ukraine. Our corrupt leaders are in bed with Epstein & co. So we are also responsible for a lawless international unipolar US “liberal” order. (“liberal” means supporting Azov nazism and al Qaida islamism, wars and coups nonstop)
We have already given them military bases, and at this point they can at any point remove our ‘socialist dictatorship’. How do we even start to remove our country from US imperialism?
