The North Macedonian Public Revenue Office announced an extension of the temporary 10 percent reduced VAT rate for specified fuel products.
The preferential rate, initially set to expire on April 6, will now remain in force until April 20, 2026.
What’s included
The extension applies to:
- Specified fuel products subject to the temporary reduced VAT rate
- Businesses operating in the sale of motor fuels and lubricants
Compliance requirement
The tax authority clarified that all relevant taxpayers must:
- Continue applying the 10 percent VAT rate
- Reflect the reduced rate in both pricing and invoicing
