Malta Polo Club (MPC) recently participated in an international tournament at the prestigious Ayala Polo Fields in Sotogrande, Spain, thanks to continued support from EquestriMalta.

Twelve players represented Malta, marking another milestone for the club as it strengthens its presence on the international polo stage.

The opportunity comes at a time when MPC is temporarily unable to host matches locally due to ongoing renovations at Malta Equidrome.

Despite this, EquestriMalta has remained a steadfast supporter, ensuring Maltese players continue to gain valuable exposure and experience abroad.

EquestriMalta, the national equine sport authority, has backed Malta Polo Club since its inception, playing a pivotal role in the sport’s growth over the past four years.

Through financial support and strategic initiatives, the authority has helped raise awareness, promote education, and facilitate international competition for Maltese polo players.

The Sotogrande tournament participation underscores Malta Polo Club’s progress and highlights the increasing opportunities for local players to compete on established international grounds, further solidifying Malta’s place in the global polo community.

Well done team Malta!
