The American administration lies as easily as it breathes. You wanna know how bad it is, truly? We’ve reached a point where if you want the most accurate information about the situation in Iran, you’re better off following official Iranian statements than American ones (including the media).

Articles like this are pointless. They are not going to be read by those who don’t agree, and those who agree, will nod solely from the title.
Vance is making the interference statement because understands that’s what the low hanging fruit against his visit is, so he’s seizing the initiative and making that statement first, to bait the EU’s weak leaders into a defensive, i.e. loser’s, rhetoric. It’s a clever post-truth tactic, and it clearly worked.
Tackling tactics like that with fact-check articles is never going to work because it’s not about facts.
