The center is a mixed-use facility. In addition to housing the city’s Community Development and Parks & Recreation staff, it will feature three business incubator spaces on the first floor and long-term lease offices on the second floor.

The building also includes a large community room and a commercial kitchen available for public rental. Outside, the plaza serve as a gathering space for community events, including the Umatilla Saturday Market & Concert Series.

The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from local leaders, live music, free food from local food trucks and tours of the new building. The ceremony is open to the public.
