Poland will make health education a compulsory school subject from the next academic year, but a module on sexual health will remain optional, Education Minister Barbara Nowacka said on Thursday.

yes, it’s dumb to opt out, but if there’s an option to opt out then the people who are set in their ways will feel less need to oppose and interfere. over time, it will become clear that the sex ed is useful and it will become widely accepted. it’ll take time, but it’ll get there

Opt out I’m fine with, we need to respect kids parents will too. If the kids feel they need it, they should learn it, they can work their parents into thinking differently.
When I was in school we had biology and that was more than enough 🙃
