Spain already doubles the threshold of signatures necessary for the European Citizens’ Initiative for the cessation of the EU-Israel Association Agreement

For a few weeks there has been a European citizen initiative to demand the suspension of the EU-Israel association agreement.

For the initiative to be valid, it must exceed one million signatures and exceed the threshold in at least 7 countries. This last requirement has already been met, since today there are 10 countries that have exceeded the threshold (Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden).

Therefore, it would be necessary to reach one million signatures, since at this moment there are just over 850,000.
