Islamabad (TDI): The Pakistan National Council of the Arts has marked the successful completion of one year of its opera singing program, held in collaboration with the Embassy of Romania in Pakistan.
In a statement, the council expressed its appreciation for the Romanian Embassy’s support, noting that the initiative has enriched Pakistan’s cultural scene while strengthening artistic and cultural ties between the two countries.
Special acknowledgment was given to Romania’s Ambassador, Dan Stoenescu, for his continued encouragement and efforts in promoting cultural exchange.
Over the past year, the program has provided a valuable platform for emerging musicians to explore the art of opera, introducing them to a genre that is relatively less common in Pakistan, it said in a statement.
The contribution of Georgiana Costea-Glugă was highlighted as instrumental in developing participants’ skills and ensuring the program’s success.
