The Australian women’s national team has defeated the Slovenian women’s national team 6–5 in an exhibition game at Ledena Dvorana Bled in Bled, Slovenia. Christina Julien led the scoring for Australia with two goals, followed by Sharna Godfrey, Stephanie Newmark, Matilda Pethrick, and Katrina Rapchuk with one each. The match was held as part of the team’s training camp before the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Division II Group A tournament which starts on 13 April in Bled.
