The people who do this kind of ads would easily tell you “what you mean you can’t put a fireplace where there was never one? You can just get a small TV that displays a fire 24/7 and build a fake fireplace around it! It’s so lovely😍 “

It’s forbidden by law and can be sanctioned quite severely. Also report to *Konsumentenschutz*, who can become quite aggressive in such instances.
What do that for. Does someone ever rent an apartment without visitation? Even if you’d sign a contract it would probably be naught.

Oh we fell for one of these types of ads not long ago. Upon visiting the apartment, I remarked that we were possibly visiting the wrong place because the furniture was different, as well as the kitchen cabinets. Then the agent admitted that the photos in the brochure had been “improved”. It left a really bad taste and I could not trust the owner and agent after that.
