  1. Sure sounds like the people doing the “citizens arrest” have gotten carried away and clubbed the guy to death with something given the comments about “objects used in the altercation”.

    It’s not good to know this has happened but ultimately I’m not surprised, when people feel that police/courts can’t be relied upon for justice and safety they will start taking things in to their own hands.

  4. There was an older case with a bloke that broke into a house, got chased out and restrained/beaten up. He died later of a heart attack, the guy that restrained him got taken to court and acquitted.

    Turns out the criminal was on meth and had a pre-existing heart condition from long term meth use. So he wasn’t really murdered, but died from the physical stress of the situation. Citizens arrest and a subsequent death doesn’t always equal guilt.
