Wife and I had this conversation the other day. Your average McD’s meal is around $15-20, and you can get a better burger, better chips and a drink at pretty much any fisho for the same price. It doesn’t even take that much longer, if at all.
Why are we still supporting fast food?
I’m sure it tastes good but fuck me dead the pattie looks drier than the simpson, don’t tell me it’s dry fuck me it looks dry.

KFC maccas hjs are all expensive slop. Local fishos unbeatable since COVID. Killer burger and chips $20 bones. Plus it’s fkin food not engineered sugar 20% meat future slop

MCd barely fills you now too. You compare a McDonald’s meal with a milk bar burger, chips and drinks. You’ll be hungry in 30m after one and feel stuffed after the other one.
I legitimately don’t know where McDonald’s gets its customers now.
I had an awesome wagyu cheeseburger at sparrow and finch recently. Would recommend.

I miss the Salisbury Takeaway. Their burgers were amazing.
Poppy’s burgers has a well earned “best burgers in brisbane” title. Decent priced and EXCELLENT burgers, huge variety too.
If you like burgers then do yourself a favour and try out Poppy’s, well worth a trip to Goodna.

Had a steak burger from Mac’s takeaway at Capalaba a few weeks back and it was on point! Also reckon big Jim’s at Holland Park is the go too!
