After the
deregistration
of three Greek Catholic parishes in the Brest region, the question arose: how many Uniate communities are now left in Belarus and where? There is no such up-to-date information in one place, but the publication Kalolik.life
tried
to compile it.

It turned out that in the entire Pinsk diocese there is only one Greek Catholic parish left — in Homel.
In total, according to information in the Unified State Register, which should include all religious organizations, 4 communities operate in Minsk, 1 — in Maladziečna, 2 — in Vitsebsk, 1 — in Polatsk, 1 — in Orsha, 1 — in Mahilioŭ, 1 — in Homel.
It is also known that 1 parish continues to operate in Grodno, 1 — in Lida, although the search in the Unified State Register does not provide information about these organizations.
Thus, all parishes, except for three communities in the Brest region, have received new registration. And if so, there are now 13 Greek Catholic parishes left in Belarus.
Among others, the Homel parish “Three Hierarchs” also underwent re-registration, which was the very first to be registered in Belarus — according to the registry data. This happened in December 1991.
This community is small and does not have its own temple. Services usually take place twice a month in the Homel Catholic church, with a priest from Mahilioŭ coming to serve. The next service, according to the schedule, is due to take place on April 19.
