The Salary of Swiss Life CEO Has Increased
Swiss Life CEO Matthias Aellig received higher pay last year. His total compensation amounted to 3,95 million francs, according to the annual report published on Wednesday. The cash component came to 2,27 million francs.
Aellig was promoted from Chief Financial Officer to CEO in mid-2024. Accordingly, his compensation for the previous year, which totaled 3,22 million francs, is not directly comparable.
Total remuneration for the entire Group Executive Board fell to 15,98 million francs in 2025, compared with 16,66 million francs a year earlier. During this period, there were several changes within the executive team.
Chairman Rolf Dörig received compensation of 1,20 million francs last year, unchanged from 2024. The full Board of Directors was paid 3,57 million francs in total, roughly in line with the previous year.
