Forecasts indicate that rain is expected in many parts of western and eastern Latvia on Thursday.
Overnight, rain is expected mainly in Kurzeme, particularly in its southwestern part, as well as in parts of eastern Vidzeme and Latgale; during the day, rain will fall in some areas across all regions, though the likelihood of rain will remain lower in the central part of the country.
Fog will also form in many places in Kurzeme overnight. A light, variable wind will blow.
The minimum air temperature at night will be +2 to +7 degrees Celsius, in some places in the central part of the country down to zero.
During the day, the air temperatures will be +10 to +15 C, in some coastal areas +7 to +9 C.
In Rīga, cloud cover will increase, but there will be no significant precipitation. Light winds. The minimum air temperature at night will be +5 to +6 C, the maximum during the day +13 to +14 C; it will be noticeably cooler in the northern part of the city, around +8 to +10 C.
