For Georgia, relations with its closest neighbors — Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Armenia — are of primary importance, Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said in an interview with Rustavi 2.

The minister noted that Georgia maintains very strong strategic-level relations with all three countries.

“Beyond that, a broader region begins — Central Asia. Relations with this region are of great importance. One of our priority directions is to develop close cooperation with Central Asian countries in order to effectively fulfill our role as a key link in the Middle Corridor,” she added.
