Another day, another Australia tour stop. For Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry, and all the independent Australian designers the duchess has been wearing, this week has been a busy one. And the Sussexes’s latest string of outings proved no different.

Stepping out to visit Swinburne University of Technology’s metal health engagement program, Batyr, Meghan styled a little olive-green wool shift dress. The piece, courtesy of Melbourne-based womenswear brand Friends With Frank, featured an A-line silhouette and mini length, with intricate dart detailing throughout. Plus, it had hidden pockets.

For a surprising touch, the Duchess of Sussex wore the sleeveless number with sheer black tights—an accessory she previously associated with the royal family.

In August 2025, Meghan sat down for an interview on The Circuit with Emily Chang, and opened up about the dress code pillars she was made to follow when still an active member of the royal family.

“I had to wear nude pantyhose all the time,” she shared. “Let’s be honest, that was not very myself. I hadn’t seen pantyhose since the ’80s, when they came in the little egg? That felt a little bit inauthentic, but that’s a silly example.”

Now, she’s made the look her own—swapping her old nude ones for a sheer black pair from Wolford.

The duchess finished off the look with black pointed-toe heels and a handful of gold jewelry, including vintage Chanel earrings. The oversize circular studs, which were actually clip ons, matched her Cartier watch and Love bracelet, as well as her two Logan Hollowell constellation rings (for her sign, Leo, and Harry’s, Virgo).
