On April 16, 2026, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia presided over the regular session of the Eparchial Administrative Board of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci, held at the Patriarchal Palace in Belgrade.
The session was preceded by a prayer service invoking the Holy Spirit, celebrated at the court chapel of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-streaming, led by Bishop Ilarion of Novo Brdo, with the participation of clergy from the Archdiocese.
During the meeting, members reviewed and approved reports on the work of church institutions and bodies within the Archdiocese, as well as plans for the upcoming period. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening missionary, educational, and charitable activities.
Patriarch Porfirije highlighted the importance of responsibility, cooperation, and dedication in serving the spiritual needs of the faithful. He stressed that such efforts are essential for the progress, unity, and witness of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
