Sweden’s PTS checks big 4 for compliance with rules on contract termination
Swedish telecoms regulator PTS said it is looking into Telia, Tele2, Telenor and 3 Sweden’s compliance with rules on subscription terminations once a tie-in period has elapsed. If a contract is automatically extended after the expiry of a binding period, the customer has the right to terminate it at any time after the automatic extension. The notice period may not exceed one month and the termination must not entail any extra costs.
