The President of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Armand Duka, held a press conference today.

Among the many things he said at this conference, Duka also spoke about the friendlies that the Albanian national team may hold in June, and none of them will be with the Kosovo national team.

The Duke said that Albania will play in Tirana during June.

Luxembourg appears to be the first confirmed rival, while there are talks with Chile and Denmark, according to Duque.

“On June 3 or 6, if I’m not mistaken, we confirmed the friendly with Luxembourg in Tirana. We are talking with Chile and Denmark about a match in Tirana. We have not talked with Kosovo or Italy about a challenge in June,” said Duka.

The last friendly match between the Kosovo and Albania national teams took place in November 2020.

At that time, Albania won 2-1 against Kosovo.

In general, our two national teams have faced each other in three friendly matches.

Kosovo won the next match, in May 2018, by a score of 3-0, while the first friendly – officially – took place in November 2015, with the match ending in a draw, 2-2./Express newspaper/
