Hey! Just sharing my experience renting a car in Armenia and driving into Georgia in case it helps someone.

Both countries are 100% worth it — Armenia has insane mountains, monasteries, and amazing food (I came back heavier🤣), Georgia is just as beautiful with great roads and views.

I was a bit unsure about rentals because of the large deposit most companies require.

I went with Tripcar based on reviews. Pickup was smooth — car checked, scratches marked, border docs provided, everything clear.

Jeep Compass was in great condition and perfect for both countries.

In Armenia: Yerevan, Sevan, Dilijan, Tatev, Noravank — all amazing.

In Georgia: Tbilisi and Kazbegi (Gergeti views were unreal).

At one point the car got scratched in Georgia, but they said just continue — insurance will handle it.

Deposit was fully returned right after drop-off, no issues.

Overall, smooth experience and having a car made the trip way better.

Has anyone else used Tripcar in Armenia?

So, what’s important to me is that the guys from this company answer calls and WhatsApp messages even outside of business hours, which is an incredibly big plus, because I use the car not only during business hours.
However, it seems I have become a regular customer of Tripcar Armenia 😄
