JÜRI TOMEPUU: It is suspected that someone has hijacked my identity

I understand that many (or rather: few, because there are not many people my age anymore) do not produce articles like Vändra produces saw boards.

I also understand why many think, as they have claimed on the internet, that these articles are not written by 95-year-old (soon to be 96-year-old) Jüri Toomepuu. It is suspected that someone has hijacked my Facebook page, or that the author of all my ideas and writings is some kind of evil fake.

That’s understandable. This Toomepuu, who was initially a big supporter of Trump and a contributor to EKRE Uute Uudiste, has changed drastically. I changed my mind when it started to appear that Trump is a friend of Estonia’s most evil enemy – the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin – who no longer wants to support Ukraine’s struggle for freedom. I fear that if Ukraine were to fall, my country of birth would be next. Estonia has always been, is now and always will be the most important thing for me.

My attitude towards EKRE is best described in my recent reply to Orbán admirer Martin Helme. I think that in today’s rapidly changing world, the thinking pattern of every thinking person must change along with his society and sphere of interest.
