I think he’s doing well at least partly cuz he was pre-described as an out of touch extremist.
Now that I’ve heard him speak on the radio a couple of times, He seems more pragmatic than I expected – tho I couldn’t vote for someone who expects the infrastructure to be in place for such a sudden switch from fossil fuels

Lewis may have had a strong week, but I don’t think he made as big a mark as Ouellette seems to think. Carney’s majority and gas tax break, and PP’s continued fumbling, sucked up the oxygen in the room, I don’t think many were paying much attention to what Lewis had to say.
I don’t think this lack of visibility in a pretty big week for the other parties is a mark against Lewis yet, but commentators need to be better aware of what Canadians are actually paying attention to before proclaiming he won any given news cycle.

I guess I don’t follow the news closely enough. What did Avi Lewis do this week? Feel like I only really saw Carney related stuff, and maybe a bit of PP.
