    Good.

And for those who complain, saying “it shouldn’t be their sex that counts” let me remind you that the previous government didn’t have a single female minister in the last years and record-low number of female representatives in Parliament. We saw how “well” this government worked.

It’s time we change this patriarchal attitude, sadly still very prevalent in Hungary. Women are half of the population, they deserve to have more roles and they don’t do a worse job than their male counterparts.

Crazy prospect, I though eastern Europe was all about middle aged, corpulent men, with gray hair, and a faiblesse for Russian money…

32% of the supermajority holder, TISZA Party, will be woman. That’s the important part

It’s still below EU average. It’s unprecedented for Hungary, not in general.

Well, not all women are center/center-liberals (same with men). Also, the EU has prominent right-wing female leaders.

To be honest, I’m confused by right-wing female leaders, when gender inequality (a.k.a. machismo) is a trademark of being right-wing.

  7. What a shame they literally stole a district from an intelligent educated lady by running a fake “Magyar Peter” in the district to confuse the voters. She only lost by 200 votes and the fake Magyar Peter received 900 votes
