      Files subsidiëren in plaats van thuiswerk te promoten, GLB heeft zijn zin weer gekregen.

      Dus ze schuiven het door naar de werkgevers voor de werkende mens.
      Verwarming wordt nergens gecompenseerd buiten degene die al hulp krijgen. Dat is geld al toekennen waar ze weten dat ze een tekort gaan hebben.

      Are you for real? That’s how you fix budget? By putting more subsidies on the transportation mode that is the most expensive per capita, not to mention any ecological consequences? Putting further stress on oil consumption instead of taking measures to reduce it?

      You’d think pushing for more WFH through official incentives would be a better idea, but no, we must still use our vehicles.

      I mean, it’s mostly people with decent jobs who’re getting paid for commuting anyway, so this is another purely classist choice in Belgium.

      They’d better invest in more subsidies to switch from fossil fuel to other alternatives.

      So we promote taking a car and stimulate oil demand, putting further upward pressure on oil.
      Meanwhile no further stimulation public transport/ bikes, work from home that would have a general downwards pressure on oil prices and the environment.
