Meanwhile, 21% of respondents agree that assisted reproduction paid for by the state should be available only for married couples.

    Another 14% of respondents oppose funding of assisted reproduction for single women, while 8% are against compensations of such services for anyone.

    The remaining 18% of the polled did not have an opinion on the matter.

    The poll was conducted by the pollster Baltijos tyrimai on 19–30 March 2026. 1,009 Lithuanian residents aged 18 and older were interviewed across 110 polling points.

    The results reflect the opinions of the adult population of Lithuania by gender, age, and type of settlement.

    The margin of error is 3.1%.
