Not sure if this a lost cat or just one running loose. Seen just now (Thursday 8:20 am) in Alexandria Park. Just next to the tennis courts, near the school. Seems clean and chill, wearing a collar with a tag but didn’t want to come near me.
Did a second lap of the park and it wasn’t visible when I got back. I am in and about the park regularly but I haven’t spotted this cat before so it may be a runaway!

Wow, a cat on the loose. I have only ever seen them on the r/cats sub or imprisoned in a tower. Nice find.

cats arent required to be kept inside in NSW unfortunately.
Alexandria Park is in a mainly residential area. It’s probably just a local cat from one of the houses across the road?

Probably not a responsible pet owner, so I don’t think they’d care, unfortunately.
Cats should be kept securely inside or in an outdoor cat enclosure. There really needs to be laws regarding the responsible ownership of cats.
You know that lots of people just let their cats roam during the day, right?
