Honestly this is exactly why we need way stricter interoperability rules in the EU cloud market. Would be great if regulators forced transparent, standardized pricing across providers so comparisons aren’t a nightmare.
Nothing new, if you want to pay less, avoid using M$ products in general.
Time to break up Microsoft. Split their cloud hyperscaker business from their os and service business. Windows is legacy software, that seems to be mainly used to sell cloud services.
