he gave a great talk at our school in year 9 30 years ago on writing books and being a author.

He was a true gentleman as well as a fine Author.

His book Johnno really captured a Brisbane Even decades after it was written when I read it I recognised those streets, those afternoons with the cricket on the radio, baking in the summer heat
