Poland had some of the greatest clothing east of the Berlin wall during the time it still stood. Łódź was able to recreate any fabric and since our designers somehow always had access to what was trendy in the west as well as in the east they made the best of both worlds.
I’ve also heard from a Ukrainian lady they considered our shoes to be great when she was little

When russians looted my house in Bucha in 2022 they took a lot of clothes of Polish brands (cropp, reserved). Maybe that’s how this store got restocked.
