
In the Baltics, the parcel and parcel market has become distinctly regional in recent years: Omniva has been working as a Baltic-wide player for a long time, Lithuanian LP EXPRESS/Unisend has expanded to Latvia and Estonia, and now Latvijas Pasts is following the same logic.
Latvijas Pasts is the only one of the three that is prohibited by law from changing its ownership structure, while its neighbor Omniva is on the verge of complete privatization. If Omniva ends up in private hands with Baltic-wide goals, the competitive situation of Latvijas Pastas will only get more complicated – not better.
How do you see who is to blame (at least in this case certainly) for Latvia’s economic backwardness in the Baltics?

Latvijas pasts sadarbojas ar unisend un šis iespējams ir kaut kādā mērā sadarbības turpinājums.
Tevis liktais raksts ir par to kā Latvijas Pasts (ar lielāko tīklu Latvijā) attīstās, bet tāpat ir kāds kurš ir vainīgs un [vissirslikti.lv](http://vissirslikti.lv). Pasta privatizācija nav nemaz tāds fleks kuru visi gribētu, privātais būs peļņas orientēts nevis pakalpojuma kvalitātes.
Ja konkurence palielināsies, lieliski, lai cīnās par labāko pakalpojumu un patērētājs lai izvēlas.
