US bureau chief explains why continuing hostilities after May 1 without congressional authorisation would put the administration in violation. He spoke to Michael Glennon, who as a young lawyer in 1973 helped craft the War Powers Resolution.
Glennon said: “It’s clearly beyond the Constitutional authority of the President, acting without congressional approval, because there was no likelihood of an imminent attack on the United States or its armed forces.”
Not when there is ceasefire in between.
Why even is there such law that allows president to be a dictator about wars for 60 days?

It won’t be. This Congress is absolutely spineless (on both sides of the isle – with a few notable outliers).
GOP members are way too scared of Trump to ever cross the isle and even Dems are scared which is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. Primary them all.
