Hi, I’m from Russia and I recently purchased a large painting, 90 cm by 60 cm, probably from the late 19th century. There’s an inscription in German behind the painting, but it’s hard for me to decipher it, and my camera won’t pick up the text so I can translate it. Could anyone translate what’s written there?
Thanks

Try it with one Pixel more. Please
Motiv bei Veytaux(?) mit Blick auf Rochers de Naye.
Subject/painting at Veytaux with a view towards Rochers de Naye.
Can’t make out the rest all that well.
I just tried to rewrite the letters that are there, maybe not exactly, but it turned out like this: “Motiv bei Veytaux mit Blikamf Rochers de Naye Nadi Naxir gemau von Metaen Missah”
As I understand it, the author is making a reference to the place where this picture was painted.
I feel like that this isn’t of much value. It’s just “cheap” decorations.
At times, where neither prints nor photography was really common, artists sold those pittoresque paintings to earn a small living and people that you can consider as middle class were able to buy those pictures for their homes
The second line seems to read “Nach der Natur gemalt von [painter’s name]”. Painted after nature by….
I know it wasn’t really your question, but I tried finding the exact location of the picture because I felt like it, and [this](https://maps.apple.com/look-around?address=Avenue+de+Chillon+48%2C+1820+Territet%2C+Switzerland&coordinate=46.421673%2C6.925948&name=Avenue+de+Chillon+48&_mvs=Ci0J9e%2FFufo1R0ARxg%2BbGMezG0AZAMAovFFefEAhquIJ%2F%2Bl3UEApIjSorShCIcA%3D) seems to be the spot.
