Polish President Karol Nawrocki held a phone conversation with Donald Trump on the evening of May 3, according to the Polish President’s Office in Warsaw.

During the call, Nawrocki expressed gratitude for Trump’s involvement in efforts to secure the release of Polish journalist Andrzej Poczobut, who has been sentenced to eight years in prison in Belarus, Caliber.Az reports.

The discussion also centered on broader security concerns, particularly the presence of U.S. military forces in Europe. Both leaders reaffirmed the strength of the long-standing Polish-American alliance, emphasising continued cooperation on defence and regional stability.
