    As a result, this year the Estonian Defence Forces will be involved in monitoring African swine fever.

    The involvement of the Defence Forces in monitoring is important, as during exercises, military personnel move through areas that are often inaccessible to people.

    As part of the cooperation, participants were asked to be vigilant and report any fallen wild boars observed during the exercises to the Agricultural and Food Department (PTA), Baltic News Service reports.
