Might be productive for the police to meet with MPs to discuss whether there’s any deficits in the law and legal powers.
I mean this is objectively the right choice, lots of wasted funds and were very unlikely to be able to gather meaningful evidence, those funds could be used fighting crime in britain instead.

No matter which way you look at it, this is disgusting if British nationals were involved in this and then just came back here like nothing happened.
If there’s no reasonable chance of conviction, then that’s that. Unless you want to waste CPS and police resources
Vexatious accusations ignored because they are about harassing people who were in a particular area, without presenting any specific evidence of a crime being committed?

Police decline to prosecute something because there is no realistic way for there to be a conviction. More news at 10.
Unfortunately investigating them would be antisemitism, therefore nothing can be done.

This is a blatant two tier legal system.
If these were Isis fighters they would be locked up the instant they returned and rightly so.
But London police are refusing to arrest or even investigate these war criminals.
Would this even be a (met) policing matter? I feel like war crimes ought to be investigated by military police, or MI5 or Interpol. Like it seems like it’s way above the pay grade of police officers. How would they even investigate the matter? Surly it would require cooporation with the milatery and international goverments.

It’s not for the police to investigate Gaza (how the hell could they) and the police weren’t given enough evidence to go off in the first place anyway.
Anyone accused of legitimate war crimes should be investigated as standard. Anything else is not good enough.
