airBaltic has launched new direct flights between Vilnius and Zurich, strengthening links between the Baltic region and one of Europe’s ?????? financial hubs.

The route, which began on May 3, will operate twice weekly in May and increase to three weekly flights for the remainder of the summer season. The new service enhances travel flexibility for both business and leisure passengers while improving onward connectivity via Zurich Airport.

Officials highlighted the route’s role in boosting economic ties, tourism, and international access for Lithuania. The connection also supports growing passenger demand, with Vilnius Airport reporting record traffic in early 2026, exceeding one million passengers in the first quarter.

The addition underscores airBaltic’s continued network expansion in Lithuania and its focus on increasing direct travel options from Vilnius.
