Fair is fair, Zelensky was *very clear* in his message. All Russia had to do was not be a dick for 48 hours and they would’ve had their ceasefire.

For those who didn’t see his message: *”As of today, there has been no official appeal to Ukraine regarding the modality of a cessation of hostilities that is being claimed on Russian social media. We believe that human life is far more valuable than any anniversary “celebration”. In this regard, we are announcing a ceasefire regime starting at 00:00 on the night of May 5–6. In the time left until that moment, it is realistic to ensure that silence takes effect. We will act reciprocally starting from that moment. It is time for Russian leaders to take real steps to end their war, especially since Russia’s Defense Ministry believes it cannot hold a parade in Moscow without Ukraine’s goodwill.”* – Zelenesky on Twitter

Maybe they will haul out Steven Seagull to defend the parade from drones from a seated position.

What a pathetic regime and military.

    3. I’m looking forward for a parade of droned in the Red Square. Ukrainian drones, of course. It would be the perfect celebration of May 9.

Russia has no real incentive to do this. If Ukraine strikes it they will say:

We asked them nicely but they didnt listen because they are Nazi’s and attempt to use that to drive up volunteer rates.

If they dont strike it, then they say:
Look how strong we are, Ukraine is bowing to our will because they stand no chance against us, and dont want to strike their brotherly people.

    5. I imagine that with the parade being a perfect target, and with the Russian military therefore focusing on defending it, it’d be a perfect time for Ukraine to blow up a whole lot of other Russian infrastructure.
Whatever is defending the high visibility parade isn’t defending an oil refinery.

      Well, no shit.

Because Russis immediately violated the truce when Ukraine did offer up one.

Just like they have done literally every single time.

Stop pussy-footing and fuck their shit up. Threats from Russia be damned.

      Well of course they don’t.

Its celebrating victory over the nazis by the soviet union.

Of these 2 ex soviet states one celebrates victory over the nazis while the other celebrates their nazi collaborators.

So its clear that the ones who celebrate the nazis don’t see a point celebrating victory over them
