    Kosovo ambassador to Bangladesh Lulzim Pllana visited the Chittagong Port on Thursday.

    Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, member, harbour and marine, Chittagong Port Authority, welcomed the ambassador and held a meeting, said a press release.

    During the meeting, discussions were held between the two sides on maritime cooperation, port development, logistics management and the possibility of strengthening economic and trade relations between Bangladesh and the Balkan region.

    In particular, emphasis was placed on future cooperation with Kosovo, exchange of experience, cargo handling and increasing regional connectivity through the use of Albanian seaports.

    Both sides expressed their hope to work together in the future to develop the maritime sector, information technology, education and port management through increased mutual cooperation.

    A power point presentation was presented in the board room of the Chittagong Port Authority on the overall activities of the port, development projects, and capacity building and modernisation activities

    Later, the ambassador inspected the operational activities of the port and was informed about the ongoing activities of the port.

    He highly appreciated the overall activities of the port.
