Hi everyone and apologies in advance if this is a wrong spot, any assistance in the right direction is highly appreciated.

I need a device, handheld with physical hard (no screen, no phone) 4 – 10 buttons that I can program to make short messages (I am thirsty/hungry/cold/need bathroom, yes and no) to help my recovering non-communicative relative (has had a trombose brain injury) express their basic needs. I found something already but it isn’t for sale anywhere anymore, link of the picture and name at the bottom.

Also this is a temporary fix, he is improving but needs this for the moment so nothing that costs an arm and a leg of people. Hell I’m very close to just buying a set of dog buttons and mount them on a wooden board since everything "made for humans" is 300+ euros for worse quality. So any direction to a product or childrens toy that you know is helpful.

And I need it to be available or purchasable in Belgium of course. Most products I’ve found already are either phones or tablets that are too complicated/expensive for the moment. A childrens toy with five to ten programmable big buttons would be perfect, haven’t found anything useful as of yet.

The gotalk pocket, looks like a walkie talkie toy with 6 buttons. Can’t find it anywhere anymore.

Especially when it’s temporary, a bunch of dog buttons would be exactly what you need, no? You could maybe strip them and repackage the innards, if the size is an issue.

      Succes!

EDIT: too tired to Translate, sorry, hope this will help nevertheless.
