The hypocrisy in this and the confusion is overwhelming. Talks that democracy will die if the nation chooses to enter into negotiations and then choose to join the EU. Isn’t that democracy? Isn’t democracy in, for example, Germany and France. And warns that these democratic decisions of the Icelandic people would be met with violence. A typical fascist figure.
