Don’t worry. You will be given appropriate credit for your record at the election.
They need to go simply for the fact that they are all absolute nutters. He needs a medical assessment if he genuinely thinks that.
Was he being sarcastic, or does he really believe they’ve done a superb job?
Or maybe his definition of a superb job is different to mine.

I think it’s more likely the tories are selfish idiots, rather than competent thieves. I can fully believe that this incredible example of human tedium believes him and his buds have actually been useful.
I can only assume he means a mint condition stock wrapped vinyl of 1987 Fleetwood Mac hit ‘Little lies’ which they’ve kept in the Treasury in place of, say, all the public money they funneled to their mates.

This is the problem, they actually do think they have done a great job. Some of the voters still do too.
