Some of the images captured at the fantastic launch of ‘Health for Life,’ on Thursday last at the Bishop’s Field Centre in Creggann, marking a new step forward for community health in the north-west.
The event launched the Old Library Trust and Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum coming together as one organisation which will strengthen how health and wellbeing support is delivered – making it easier for people to access services and find the help they need.

From mental health and family support to physical activity and work with older people, this is about creating a more joined-up approach that supports people at every stage of life.
Project director, George McGowan described it as ‘A really positive move and an exciting opportunity to continue improving health outcomes for our communities now and into the future.’
Mr. McGowan thanked all who attended on the day making it such a special occasion, including keynote speaker, Kate Beggs, National Lottery NI Chief Executive and the city and district’s Mayor, Ruairi McHugh.
He also acknowledged the continued support from National Lottery Community Fund for their support.
